Keeps calling, no messages left so annoying!!!

I just got a call from there. When I answered someone was actually on the phone. Of course mispronounced both my first & last name so I know for sure these are solicitors. Thank God my phone is a business line & I can answer with my business name. Most usually hang up. Next call I will answer with a different greeting & will get a hang up.

got a call twice today from this number. No voice, no answer.

This guy Eric Thompson is saying he is with Criminal Investigation Firm and the number is a New York number. Says i was used as a reference and he needed to get a hold of this other person. I googled the number and read some comments other people had said regarding this same number and they all said it is a scam. So i called the guy back and called him out on it said I know this is a scam he said yes it is i told him to remove my phone number and never call it again or i would report him he said, no no do not report me i will not call again just do not report me. Well I did anyway no one deserves to be harrased by this person and i hope it is taken care of.

when I answer i get a recorded message saying this call is for Davis Walters. The recording says if this is the wrong number press 3. I did but i get a call from them every day.I have no unpaid bills and do not know Davis walters?

I ANSWER AND NO ONE SAYS ANYTHING...

I also received a charge on my account that I know nothing about!!!It was for 24.99 and my bank is unable to see who it is!
